Fabulous work from Casey.Casey was able to count objects placed in front of him and then was able to write numbers down from 1 - 11 with no help.Awesome work Casey.

We Care

Today Casey and I discussed the school characteristic of 'We Care'.  We talked about who he cares for (see picture) and who cares for him.  These people included Mr Lynch, Debbie, Ruth, Penny, Mum, Dad and Lucy.  We also talked about what this looks like and how people show they care.  Casey said "They help me with my learning", "They see if I'm ok" and "They give me cuddles".  Next time we are together we are going  to be discussing setting up a goal around caring for others and himself.  Well done Casey, you are lucky to have so many people who care about you!

Casey's iPad

This is Casey's new iPad.  As you can tell he is very proud of it.  On his iPad Casey can do many things including  Reading, Writing and Maths (there are some pretty cool games too!).  The applications on his iPad will help with various aspects of his learning and enhance his fine motor, sequencing and recall skills.  He has already started taking photos on it.  Casey's iPad lives at school in Mr Lynch's store room.  Awesome Casey - I am so pleased you love it.  I look forward to learning together!
